HAWAIIAN DELIGHT PIE
Easy No Bake Pie Recipe
(Recipe using 8 oz. Bag Haupia Mix & 5.6 oz. Bag Kulolo Mix)

Ingredient List

  1. (1) bag Hawaii’s Best Hawaiian Haupia Mix (8.0 oz.)
  2. (1) bag Hawaii’s Best Hawaiian Kulolo Mix (5.6 oz.)
  3. (2-1/2) cups Water
  4. 9” pre-made graham, shortbread, or oreo pie shell

Directions:

  1. Combine and mix the entire contents of each package of Haupia & Kulolo powder mix in a large bowl, set aside.
  2. Bring (2-1/2) Cups of water to a Hard Boil.
  3. Whisk while adding entire contents of bowl containing combined Haupia & Kulolo powder to the boiling water.
  4. Whisk vigorously for 15-20 seconds as Haupia & Kulolo mixture will start to thicken quickly.
  5. Remove pot from stove and continue to whisk until mixture is smooth & thick (approximately 15-20 seconds).
  6. Pour into desired pre-made 9” pie shell.
  7. Refrigerate after Haupia & Kulolo mixture cools to room temperature (approximately 3 hours until firm).  For best results let pie set overnight.
  8. Top with Hawaii’s Best Coconut Syrup & whipped cream. Cut into slices & serve. Enjoy!  Refrigerate left overs.   

Option: Add chopped macadamia nuts as an additional topping.

10 Minute Microwavable Recipe
Creamy Coconut Bread Pudding Mix

Ingredient List:

1.  (1) Bread Pudding Powder Mix (8 oz. Bag)

2.  (2) cups water

3.  (4) large eggs (beaten)

4.  (3) tablespoons salted butter (melted)

5   (9) slices sandwich bread

 

 Microwavable directions:

  1. Grease 8X8 microwavable safe pan, comparable dish, or container. Vegetable oil spray is okay.
  2. Cut your choice of sandwich bread into 1 inch cubes. Place bread cubes evenly into 8x8 greased pan.

 *Option, gently toss 1/2 cup of raisins with cubed bread in a large bowl until evenly combined before placing into 8x8 pan.

Bread pudding sauce preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, melt (3) tablespoons of salted butter, then cool and set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat (4) large eggs and set aside.
  3. Next, add (2) cups of water into a large mixing bowl. 
  4. Whisk bread pudding mix (entire contents of bag) with water.                                        
  5. Next, add beaten eggs and melted butter.
  6. Whisk together until mixture is smooth.

    *Option: Add (1) teaspoon of vanilla extract for a bolder vanilla flavor.

Directions continued:

  1. Pour bread pudding sauce OVER cut (cubed) bread in 8x8 microwavable pan, dish, or container.  Be sure to soak bread thoroughly with sauce.
  2. Microwave uncovered on HIGH for 9-10 minutes or until thoroughly set. Pudding center may still be soft but will set as it cools (recipe tested using a 1,200 watt microwave).  Note: A lower watt microwave will require longer cooking times to set.  Microwave an additional 15 seconds at a time until set.
  3. Cool on cooling rack for approximately 1 hour.
  4. Cut into squares and serve.

Bread Pudding Mix
2-1/2 Minute Microwavable

Express Single Serving Directions

Ingredient List:

  1. (5) tablespoons (level) Bread Pudding Powder Mix
  2. (1/2) cup water
  3. (1) large egg (beaten)
  4. (1) tablespoon salted butter (melted)
  5. (2) slices sandwich bread (cubed)

Microwave directions:

  1. Grease a large mug, ramekin, or microwavable container. Vegetable oil spray is okay. Large mug/ramekin/container must be able to hold between 2-3 cups of liquid (16-24 fl. oz.). 
  2. Cut bread into (1/2) inch cubes and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, melt (1) tablespoon of salted butter, then cool and set aside.

Bread pudding sauce preparation:

Note: Steps 4 - 8 will be prepared in the same bowl.

  1. In a medium bowl, beat (1) large egg.
  2. In the same bowl, add (1/2) cup of water.
  3. In the same bowl, add (5) tablespoons of bread pudding powder mix (level).
  4. In the same bowl, add melted butter and whisk mixture together until smooth.
  5. In the same bowl, add cubed bread, toss gently with a spoon, and thoroughly soak bread with sauce.

Directions continued:

  1. Place soaked cubed bread into desired greased mug, ramekin, or microwavable container.
  2. Microwave uncovered on HIGH for 2-1/2 minutes until bread pudding rises (approximately 1-2 inches) and liquid is gone (recipe tested using a 1,200 watt microwave). A lower watt microwave will require longer cooking times. Microwave an additional 15 seconds at a time until liquid is gone and bread pudding is set.
  3. Cool for approximately 15 minutes.  Serve warm or chilled; your preference.

Enjoy!  Refrigerate leftovers.

  1.  (1-1/2) Cups of Water
  2. Bring water to a hard boil.
  3.  Whisk dry mix (entire contents bag) into boiling water.
  4.  Remove pot from heat after syrup starts to thicken. 
  5.  Add (2) Tablespoon Salted Butter (Melted).
  6.  Add (1) teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. 
  7.  Continue to whisk syrup until mixture is smooth. 
  8.  Pour into dish or bowl and serve warm or chilled. (Don’t leave syrup in pot).

Coconut Tapioca Pudding 

recipe to make 

Coconut Vanilla Cream Tapioca 

  1. Bring (2) cups of water to a hard boil.
  2. Whisk while adding coconut tapioca mix (entire contents of package) to boiling water.
  3. Whisk vigorously for 20 seconds (tapioca will start to thicken).
  4. Remove pot from heat.
  5. Add (2) tablespoon salted butter (melted).
  6. Add (1) teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  7. Continue to whisk tapioca for 15 seconds until mixture is evenly combined.    
  8. Pour mixture into a large serving bowl (stir occasionally while tapioca cools to room temperature).                                                              
  9. Refrigerate after tapioca cools (stir before serving).  Enjoy!
